'Soften [Deluxe Edition]' is a reimagining of KESSWA's beautiful debut EP, remastered & re-ordered, with 3 new tracks, including lead single "WAV", her 2023 remix of "Contemplate", and an acid mind melter by 2Lanes.

KESSWA is the interdisciplinary artist Kesiena Wanogho.
Her work integrates performance, video, music and spoken word to function as a resource for emotional healing.
Portage Garage Sounds and KESSWA's collaboration started with a chance encounter in 2019, leading to film scores, performances with the Live Ensemble, a striking vocal duet with John FM on 2Lanes's "Baby's Born To Fish...", and the pandemic-era multimedia video / performance "Is My Mind A Machine Gun?" (with Shigeto and Vinnie Massimino).
In the past year, KESSWA provided backing vocals on the Sudan Archives single "Home Maker", appeared on Theo Parrish's DJ-Kicks with "Chasing Delerium" (feat. Nova Zai), received the prestigious Kresge Artist Fellowship in Film & Music, and was featured in Season 7 of Google's Creator Labs.
